The organizer of the Virtual Summits is Dave Cross LLC, a two-person company consisting of Dave Cross and his wife Marlene. Dave is a long-time Photoshop educator who, in May 2020, saw a need for virtual conferences that provided free classes with optional VIP paid passes. Dave has organized eight Photoshop summits, three Lightroom summits, the Video Creators Virtual Summit, and the Illustrator Virtual Summit.

For the Lightroom Virtual Summit 2025, Dave has partnered again with Lightroom expert and instructor Matt Kloskowski, to bring together a world-class team of expert instructors teaching top-notch Lightroom classes.
